AYUDH Summer-Workcamp

You’re between 16 and 30? You’re most welcome to join us for a ten-day retreat in Amma’s French Center, from July 4 to July 12.
We were thrilled by the last Ayudh retreat in Germany, and decided to try a complementary event to make ecology accessible to all. We want to understand together how it can be a way of rediscovering ourselves and our environment.
Global warming makes it hard to predict the weather, but we can tell you for sure that the place is great, and the work fascinating. This week is meant to help us discover the amazing potential that lies in our hands and deepen our relationship with Nature.
As we believe in a do-it-yourself approach, you’ll spend your mornings cultivating or cooking organic food. You may also build the centre using ecological techniques that will surely be useful to you in the future!
On the afternoons, the big deal will be to choose the subject of the practice-oriented workshop you’ll be taking part in. From singing to yoga, dancing, or drumming, the range of workshops will be as wide as you are plenty. This workshop will be followed by an exchange with various people whose activity is linked to ecology. These people have various backgrounds and the range of topics will foster our personal exploration.
You’ll also get the opportunity to participate in the daily spiritual practices of the centre: archana in the morning, bhajans in the evening or selfless service throughout the day.
Last but not least, we’ll all take one day off to visit the world-famous Chartres Cathedral and its amazing labyrinth.

Participants should contribute 120€ to cover the stay’s expenses. The contribution is to be given on site.
The centre can be reached by train (“Courville sur Eure” station) or car. We can pick participants at the train station. |
